Hi, I am Andres Felipe Pena Castro, a seismologist and data scientist specializing in seismic analysis and innovative geophysical techniques. I've worked on projects across Antarctica, the Arctic, France, Germany, and the United States, using Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), dense seismic instrumentation, and machine learning techniques to study seismicity and earthquake processes.
Currently, I am the state seismologist of Montana (USA). My research focuses on seismic event detection, location, and characterization in Montana. Thank you for visiting--feel free to explore my work and publications.
